Training period on biotoxins detection (27- 31 October 2014)

Two experts from the Croatian Veterinary Institute of Rijeka, two experts from the Croatian Veterinary Institute of Split and two experts from the LLC Centre for ecotoxicological research of Podgorica attended at IZSAM Chemistry Unit in Teramo, from 27 to 31 October 2014, the training on the reinforcement of diagnostic capabilities and know-how in relation to heavy metals, benzopyrene and other Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH) and biotoxins contamination of fish and shellfish produced in the Adriatic sea.

The trainees were introduced with the description of working programme, the administrative issues and other recaps.

During the afternoon and the following days the training continued in the laboratories.

The training was focused on the partners staff to implement analytical methods for the diagnosis of marine fish and shellfish diseases and check health standards for live mollusks.
